In the second entry I want to talk about  the different policies and measures taken by three countries regarding this health global issue and how it affects me and my family’s experience. Those countries are Canada, Ecuador and Colombia.  The first country is Canada, the measures taken by the government affected my family because my brothers wanted to travel there and study an english program for at least 6 months, but due to the pandemic everything was cancelled.  Some of the measures and politics taken by the country according to the government were:   Bar foreign nationals from all countries except the United States from entering Canada. The measure would not apply in designated exceptional circumstances, including to air crews, travellers arriving in Canada in transit to a third country, Canadian permanent residents, diplomats, or immediate family members of Canadian citizens.   Now that we are in the women's week and we only hear congratulations or comments on this day, I would like to make the first entry in this blog about us women. In one class the teacher asked us what was the best thing about being a woman and I honestly thought for a long time before answering because almost everything that goes through my head are bad things and I think it would be easier to answer the question of what is the worst thing about being a woman. Just this weekend I met with some friends from school and one of them was telling us the terrible story she went through. Last December while she was riding in an Uber, the driver drugged her and fortunately she managed to get out of the car and ask for help, but we were thinking about the number of women who go through the situation and are not as lucky as she were.
